Group Event
It takes two of them to watch the potty and/or poopy get flushed down the toilet. As soon as Bryns sees Grady heading into the bathroom she makes a beeline for it. He has gotten pretty good at keeping her away from it and is overjoyed that she wants to share in the experience with him! :)

Bath animals
The kids got these cute little bath animal sponges from my Aunt Lori and Uncle Scott as a souvenir from South Africa. They are little capsules that turn into animals after they get wet. They gave us quite the excitement and entertainment during bath time this morning!! :)
Curls!
I am loving how Brynlee's hair gets such cute curls when it is wet!! It pretty much goes straight after it dries. It's getting so long! Just in time to be annoying in hot weather... :) hopefully she will keep her ponies and piggies in for longer periods of time...
Knee walking
Yep, still walking on her knees. She has now started a combination of feet AND knee walking. My goal is to get her to walk most of the time by next Saturday when she has 1 year pictures!
Madison
Madison and Gradyn, friends forever! They are 10 days apart in age. They love each other but can also fight like brother and sister a times!
My sister took them to story time at Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago. They sat so nicely together and listened to the story! Of course their favorite part was the cookies afterwards and then getting to ride the escalated at Scheels!
The apron picture is from before Christmas when they baked cookies together!

February recap
A quick recap of our February. Can't believe it is March already!! Only a few weeks until our little B is One! Crazy.
Things we did in February:
*Had our first snowstorm/blizzard of the winter season! Put a damper on our Elmo plans, but we still made it the next day. Unfortunately we had to go during nap time, so Grady was very tired towards the end. Brynlee loved it and danced/bounced away to the music! Grady liked it too, just wish he wasn't so tired and we were closer, in our original seats so he could see it better. He was kind of confused about what was going on and where Elmo really was.
*I went to Mamma Mia at the Lied Center with Ashley, Aunt Shari, & Aunt Lori. It was a great girls night!
*Went to our nephew Luke's 3rd Birthday Party!!
*Grady started swimming lessons. Every Thursday night. Started off terrible. Cried, screamed for me, etc. until he threw up. Only lasted about 15 minutes. Got MUCH better every week. Still cried and was scared, but would get in the water and be with the teachers. He LOVES the water and the pool, he is just a scardy cat of strangers and being away from us. I want to sign him up for the next session so he can keep getting better at the stranger part...
*We had a party with our college friends that was super fun and great to catch up with everyone! I think there were 6 kids there under the age of 3. :)
*Paul and I got to go on 2 different dates around Valentine's Day. We need to do that much more often!
*Our new little niece, Grace, was born!! We spent the weekend with them and were there the day she was born, so that was a fun day! Then we went back the next weekend to see her again and hang out with the fam.
Milestones:
*Brynlee is STILL walking on her knees everywhere. She looks just like a little penguin. The funny thing is that it is a harder skill and more upper level than actually walking. And, I would think walking would be a lot more comfortable. She will now take 5 or 6 steps away from the furniture, but then drops to her knees and walks the rest of the way like that. I think she is just not confident enough yet in her walking, and to her she IS standing and upright like everyone else. Hopefully soon she will get enough confidence to stay on her feet and walk normally! :)
*Grady is officially totally potty trained! YAY! I don't even remember the last time he had an accident. I think it was sometime early last week, but I don't think it was a true 'accident'. He is so good at going to the bathroom when he needs to go, on his own. When he know he needs to go #2 he takes a book into the bathroom (or gets up from the potty chair) and waddles out to the living room with his pants at his ankles to get the book he wants to read while he goes. It is hilarious! He pretty much wakes up every morning with a dry pull-up and will then go when he needs to when he gets up.
*Brynlee has 7 teeth now...I think...honestly I haven't checked lately to know for sure. I pretty much just always assume she is teething and has something coming through. She is the slowest teether e.v.e.r. It takes so long for those teeth to poke through and then once they do they take sooo long to get all the way down. Poor girl! Luckily, we hardly even notice because she never complains or whines about anything.
Can't wait to see all that March brings us!
