Brynlee's first time flying, trip to Cali

Brynlee and I flew to California a couple weeks ago for my friend Jackie's wedding! It was super fun and Brynlee was a super star traveler. We literally hardly noticed she was along! We went with Ashley and our friend Leah.
I didn't take too many pics, mostly because I forgot. And a lot of the focus was on Brynlee's flying, so there was a little photo op on the planes and during a layover in Vegas, mostly just for Brynlee's enjoyment! Otherwise I forgot! It was such a fast trip! We left on Friday afternoon and came back on Sunday morning.

Spring fever

Today's 61 and sunny weather definitely gave us some spring fever around here. I forgot how much I love going on walks to the park every night. Can't wait for spring! It's my favorite time of year!
Too bad we are supposed to be getting a huge snow storm this week....at least we got 1 nice day in.

Grady's 4th Birthday Party!

We had a train theme. I made the cake for the first time at my kids' party! I've decided I'm too much of a perfectionist. I couldn't stop messing with it and wanted it I be perfect, which of course it was not because I'm not very good at having patience for that type of stuff...but it turned out cute anyway I guess! We had Grady's favorite foods, hamburgers, applesauce, chips, and brownies. Along with fruit pizza and veggie pizza. And, if course he was spoiled with lots of fun new toys and movies and books! It was a great night! We love having our friends and family over to celebrate! Actually, Grady's wish after he blew out his candles was that everyone would stay at his house! It was so sweet!
