Grady’s First Tball Game!!

DSC_0011

I realize that I just talked big about the great quality of pictures and then I post pics that are almost all behind a fence…hopefully next game I will have better seating!  And, I’m sure you will notice the quality behind the fence is WAY better than it would be from my phone.  Smile

Grady is LOVING Tball!

He could play every day, all day if that was an option.  He gets home from a game or practice and wants to be right outside practicing some more!

It is basically Paul’s dream come true.  Except for the fact that Grady does NOT enjoy being coached by his parents or be told what to do by his parents at all.  These 5 weeks of Tball so far have made him an EXPERT on everything baseball and we don’t know anything about it because we do not play Tball….

Paul has been helping coach at games and practices and Grady did tell me other other day that he hopes he can help some more and he even has his coach name picked out for him.  “Coach Paul”  (Get it??)

Our little number 5!!

Of course the coaches gave him that number on purpose after they realized we are quite the Royals fans by our attire to practice every day.  (George Brett #5!)

I love these last 2 of Grady at short stop in the ready position!  He has really done an awesome job of paying attention and being ‘in’ every game so far!  He gets down and ready for the ball and watches close!  And, we are so proud to say that he is really one of the only boys that does that!  Maybe it’s the hours and hours of watching baseball he has done in his life that have helped!  ha!

New Camera!

Well, I was getting tired of never having great pictures of the kids’ events so I am spoiled and got a new camera for my birthday!  (And our anniversary, and probably all of my next 5 birthdays…)  Smile

So, hopefully having much better quality of pictures will also motivate me to post more often!  But, I have found that at most events that I would like to take a few pictures I am also holding a baby at the same time which makes it quite difficult to also hold my other ‘baby’….the new camera.  So, I haven’t played around with it as much as I would like, but hopefully soon!

We got a Nikon D3200 and also an extra zoom lens which I have not tried out yet, but am SUPER pumped to try at Tball next week!  It has WiFi capabilities so I can transfer pictures straight to my iPhone or iPad, which is great for me because I have the Shutterfly App on my phone and that is what I use to transfer all of my pics to Shutterfly.  Hopefully it works as great as I am hoping it will!
