Here are the videos! The first one is of Grady and Dominic in the bath together! It was so funny how they would both laugh! Dominic would splash Grady and he loved it and thought it was so funny! The second one is of Grady with his new toy! He loves to walk behind it and push it all over the house!

Happy Halloween!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
We are looking forward to the Halloween weekend! My sister, Ashley, is coming tonight to NP and some of Paul's family is coming tomorrow morning! So, we should have a house full of Husker fans and Trick-or-Treater's! It will be a fun time!
Check back for Halloween pictures! Our little penguin is looking to score lots of candy for his mom and dad! Also, I hope to get a few videos posted this afternoon!
Update on Gradyn:
He is now Crawling, Pulling himself up to stand, and has taken a few wobbly steps! He has really gotten mobile within this past week! I thought he would be so much happier when he could crawl and get where he wants to go, but NO, he is not happy unless he is standing or walking. He will crawl up to my legs and then pull himself up to standing against them and wants up. He has also been pulling himself up onto all of the furniture and wants up with us, or will just stand there and bounce because he is so happy! The only problem is that he doesn't have good enough balance yet to move around objects he is standing on, although the past 2 days he has been much better, so he will fall over if he moves around too much.
He is forever on the move as fast as he can go! We're getting scared for when he can run! Which, shouldn't be too much longer, apparently!
He had his 9 month well baby check-up yesterday and here are the stats on that:
Weight: 18 lbs. 5 oz. - 15th percentile
Height: 27 in. - 10th percentile
Head: 75th percentile - can't remember the exact measurement
So, he is still small for his age, but apparently has kind of a big head! Which, I'm sure means he has a big brain! :)
Everything else at his appointment went well. He is meeting or exceeding all of the other milestones. His hemoglobin level was a little bit low, which means he is low in iron, but since he is still on formula we don't need to do anything about it right now. The Dr. said when he is 1 and on cow's milk we will probably need a vitamin supplement if it is still low.
He is still seeing the Physical Therapist twice a month and she thinks everything looks good with him too. She hasn't seem him crawl, pull himself up or any of that stuff yet, so she will have a lot to watch him do this week when she comes!
Everything else with Gradyn is good! He is so much fun! So far we would say his personality is: dramatic, funny, and busy! He is usually always happy, smiley, and going crazy! :)
A Weekend With Dominic!
Last weekend Luke and Becky went to a wedding in Indiana and took the twins with them. We got to watch Dominic for the weekend! It was a ton of fun! Paul actually spent most of the time with both of the boys because I had parent-teacher conferences that week and a conference in Omaha. He was excited to get lots of boy bonding time in. Dominic did really well with us and seemed to have fun.
I was worried he would get bored with our house since we don't have many 2-year-old things and since he wasn't around his usual things, but we found things to stay busy with. We went out to eat a couple times, went to the doctor's office for my allergy shots and Grady's flu shot, went to Menards's, watch the Husker football game, went to church, played bowling on the Wii, watched lots of Hi-5 (his favorite show), went on 2 walks, went to the park, and played around the house!
We all missed him this week, and especially Grady because he got a little bit used to having somebody down on the floor playing with him and also having somebody to watch run around. He expected his mom and dad to do that for him this week! :)
This has been a fun week for Grady because his daycare was closed almost the whole week so he got to stay home with Mom and Dad! Well, mostly Dad since I was in Omaha for the conference at the beginning of the week and had to be back in school the other days. I did take a half day off on Wednesday to stay with him. And, I am lucky enough to get to be home with him today because we had a Snow Day! About 16 inches of snow I guess! I can't get out of the driveway so we are having lots of bonding time today!

Swinging at the Park!
A couple weeks ago on a Sunday the weather was so nice here so we went to the park with the Deaver's to play and feed the geese. It was such a nice day to walk around outside and play! Here are some pictures of Grady swinging, which he loves! He has a love-hate relationship with going fast. He laughs and giggles when you push him hard and fast, but then starts crying when he realizes what is happening!
Weekend with Family
A few weeks ago we went to visit family in Omaha, Pender, and then Lincoln. Ron had surger on his neck in Omaha so we went to see him in the hospital and then Paul drove him home with Gradyn. We then spent the weekend in Pender and all of Paul's brothers came home for the weekend. We had a good time hanging out with everyone and playing with the little boys! After church on that Sunday we went to Lincoln to meet my dad and Zoya and Irina for lunch. I think everyone loved seeing Gradyn and how much he had grown! It was a good weekend! We even got to sneak a little trip to Sioux City with all of Paul's brothers and Cassie while Grandma and Grandpa watched the 3 boys. We got to eat at Texas Roadhouse which, YES, was as good as everyone says it is. :)
Here are some pictures of our trip:

Oktoberfest in Sidney
This weekend we went to Sidney to visit Ashley and to attend the Oktoberfest celebration they had. It was a lot of fun! We went out to eat, drove around town, visited Ashley's friend who just had a baby, helped her dogsit for a funny dog, went to a parade, and went to the "tent" for the rest of the Oktoberfest festivities, which was mostly food and beer.
Gradyn seemed to love it all! He is the type of baby who loves to be out and about and can just sit and look around and watch everything for a long time. He loved the parade, especially the bands that marched in it. He also loved being out at the tent and seeing all the people. Lots of people stopped by to talk to him!
We are very lucky that he is a good sleeper wherever we go. He fell asleep and took a nap during the parade (even with all the noise) and again at the tent with all of the people around. We pretty much just have to lay him down in his stroller with his blanket and pacifier and he will sleep if he is tired. The only problems we have are that it is hard for him to eat in new places because he can't pay attention to his food because he is too busy looking around and checking everything out!
He is still NOT crawling yet, for those of you who were wondering. He is getting pretty close to scooting around though. He can scoot backwards really well, and he will get up on all 4's and rock back and forth, but still no movement! Which, I am actually fine with because I can't imagine how crazy active he is going to be when he can crawl! He is already moving constantly!

Toast anyone?
Gradyn had toast for the first time last weekend so I thought I should take a few pictures of the occasion. He loved it! But mostly I think he liked how hard it was and felt good on his gums/teeth. I don't think he ended up eating any of it, just sucked on it and gummed it until it was really soggy!
Hair Model?
One night when Paul was giving Gradyn a bath he decided to try some different hairstyles out on him. Paul has always loved to give our nephews, Luke & Isaac, his famous "butt-cuts" and now he thought it was time that Grady had one too. The 3 hairstyles he tried out were: the side part, the butt-cut, and spiked hair. He was so cute!
These are of the spiked hair, which is my favorite! I can't wait until his hair is longer and thicker so we can spike it up all the time! :) Right now his hair is too thin and fine to do a very good spike with!
