We made an impromptu Royals trip a few weeks ago. Andy & Cassie texted on a Saturday morning and said they were heading down for the 6:00 game and asked if we wanted to go along. So, we quick finished up our Saturday projects and headed out to meet them! It was such a fun day! The girls rode together to chat (and Brynlee slept literally the entire way to KC….perfect child) and the boys rode together so they could talk sports and be crazy. The weather was beautiful and we had such a great time.

We had a wedding shower for Paul’s brother, Mike’s, fiance Mary Kate! We are so excited to travel to Ohio for their wedding at the end of May. Brynlee is going to be the flower girl! 
Well, the upside of our horrible cold/rainy/snowy spring weather is that the kids were so excited to use their umbrellas!
For Valentine’s Day I gave Paul tickets to the Omaha Stormchasers Opening Day game. It ended up being a cold night so we improvised a little. The Deaver’s were able to meet us for a few innings, so that was super fun! Hopefully next time we go back we won’t need our parkas and blankets….
