Weekend with the Deaver's!

We had a super fun weekend when the Deaver's came to visit! Many of my pics are blurry and not that great but I thought they were still worthy of a blog post.
We went to the childrens museum, watches football, played outside, played inside, ate, did lots of chatting, and had a blast! Cassie and her kids and Anslee and Harper also came during the Husker game so at one point we had 10 kids under the age of 5 in our house! And only 3 of those were girls, and they are all 2 and under... They all had a blast playing together and did so good! It helped to have so many of them so that they could pair off a little bit. And we could get outside so that helped too, they went back and forth between playing different things and were pretty much always busy. There was really no fighting! It was awesome! And they were all in bed before 8:30! A miracle for when Isaac, Luke, and Grady are together, they are used to playing all night long. Spoiled. :)
Can't wait to do it again soon!

Date night with G

On Thursday night Grady, my Aunt Shari, and I went on a little date night. Grady was super excited to go. He even went in the bathroom and fixed his hair. He told me he was making it look nice for the pirate play. I had to help it along a bit, but it was so sweet! :) We ate at Lazlos and then went to a musical at the community playhouse, How I Became A Pirate. It was super cute and funny and we had a lot of fun!

Rockin' the OCD life

One night this week she brought a bucket of cars upstairs and lines them up in a perfectly straight row. Girl after my own heart. :)

They CAN play nice together!

Random Cuteness

Big Brothers...

Oh the unfortunate problems that little sisters have...an experiment when big brother found the tape dispenser...
And yes, we usually have her hair in a pony or barrette... :)

Gma's Birthday

A few weeks ago we went to Fairbury to visit my Grandma Marlene and go to lunch with the family for her birthday. Here are a few pics from that day. My Gma taught Brynlee how to take all of the frosting off of a cupcake with your finger before you eat it. This is her new fave thing!

The previous post is courtesy of Brynlee. She was playing with my phone today and apparently got into the blogger app and left a nice little message. :) doesn't sound like her. The only words she seems to know these days are 'No' and 'Mine'.....

Our Halloween Festivities

Boo at the Zoo X 2
Halloween Hurrah at the Children's Museum
Costume Parade at Kellan's
And we also trick or treated around the neighborhood and at my 2 Aunts but I didn't take any pics. Oops! Bryns loved it! She marched right up to houses with Grady and our friend Sam and held her bag out for candy, said thank you, and walked back down. She kind of got ticked when they wouldn't let her pick it out herself. Such a diva. We ended the night with her pitching a screaming tantrum because she wanted a certain kind of candy from one house that she didn't get. She kept running back to that house so I had to pick her up and carry her back home kicking and screaming while Paul and Grady did a few more houses. She was not happy about that either.... Sugar overload maybe?! :) Grady did awesome and was so good about saying Thank You and running back up to say it if he forgot.
