April in Review (at the end of May...)
So, I am way behind again! I am really good at reading other blogs and keeping up with everyone else, just not so great at updating my own blog! oops! :)
I have had it on my To Do list all month, to get an April review done on my blog, but other things have been more important I guess. And, let's face it, it just isn't as fun as telling the NEW things we are doing with pictures!
Anyway, here is what happened in our April:
*April 1st - BRYNLEE TURNED 1!!! - Pink ladybug party with lots of family! :)
*Brynlee & Grady went to Gma Doris & Gpa Ron's house for a couple days because Kellan was closed for vacation for a week. Paul and I got to have a date night!
*We went to Pender for Easter! Guenther family on Saturday night & Hagedorn family on Sunday afternoon.
*Ashley came to visit for a couple week nights when she was in town for a training.
*We went to Holdrege to visit our BFF's, the Deaver's!
*Grady and I went to Charlotte's Web at the Community Playhouse, it was a great date night!
*Paul celebrated his 31st Birthday! He went to KC to a Royals weekend with his brothers.
*We went to the Lincoln Zoo for our first trip of the summer, with Madison!
*We went to the Omaha Zoo for our first trip of the summer!
*Brynlee had her 1 year check up and shots at the doctor.

Shopping buddies
I LOVE watching G and B interact and see how much they love each other! They can be soooo sweet. (they can also be so annoyed with each other, don't get me wrong...)
This morning when we were at the store Grady kept putting his arm around Brynlee while they road in the cart together. Melt my heart.

Go Royals!
We took our first family trip of the season to Royal's on Thursday! We went with Ron, Andy, Cassie, Isaac, Luke. Girls rode together and boys rose together. It was awesome. A tad hot, and a tad traumatic when we lost Grady for a little bit..... Luckily Guest Services had him, a security person took him there. He was sleeping on the lady's lap when we got there, I guess he has exhausted himself from screaming and being hysterical for so long. I can't even imagine how scared he was! We are bummed he fell asleep and when he woke up we were there because it kind of took the scariness out of it for him and we aren't sure he really learned his lesson..... Ugh.
Anyway, he was found!

Sleepy Sis
This was Brynlee's sleeping position on our walk the other night. She hadn't napped very long that day so she was out by 6:00 in the bike trailer!
We have been going on nice long walks every night and it has been awesome! I'm loving the new app I got (Nike plus) that can tell us how many miles we go and our route and stuff!

Mother's Day
We had a very nice little Mother's Day!
Gradyn and I made us a nice breakfast of animal waffles....his choice, of course!
We then went to Mass and then to my Aunt Lori's for lunch. After lunch we had story time with Paul and Shari while Grady played with the doll house...and yelled for Madison to play with him! Ha!
After lunch we went home to nap and then Paul's family came to hang out for the afternoon and the kids had a blast playing in the backyard. We got to go out for dinner with everyone and then came back to hang out with Mike for a bit, which was awesome since we never get to see him! :) and we obviously had so much fun I didn't take any pics of the whole afternoon!

Nap drama
Grady is getting to the point of cutting out his nap on some days. But we still try to put him down at the same time as B so they are on the same schedule and since that is what he does at daycare. However, she is usually done napping by the time he finally falls asleep....
This is how we found him napping on 2 different occasions, after a couple hours of obviously destroying his room. I don't even want to know what goes on in there, I'm just glad he does eventually fall asleep! :) and yes! He will sleep for 2 to 3 hours in these positions! So basically his total nap time is like 4 to 5 hours....

Farmer's Market
We love the Farmer's Market! These are the only pics I remembered to take, and doesn't everyone looked so thrilled to be there?!?! Haha! We really do love it, regardless of what the faces in the pictures show! Ha
Saturday Morning Fun

Let's just say that 3 of us are morning people and are up and ready to go while the 4th member of the fam has a little bit harder time getting himself moving..... :) so, we had some extra time to get some picture action in. I was loving Brynlee's new dress!
