Happy Easter!

We went to see the Easter Bunny at the Children's Museum.  Grady was terrified.  We could finally get him to stand beside the Easter bunny after he was holding Brynlee and with Paul forcing him.  He also warmed up a little bit after he saw the Easter bunny dancing to music, which is a Grady favorite!

Spring Time Cuties

I just really liked the green colors they were wearing this day so I did a little photo shoot!

The Long Hair!

I wanted to try to get a few pictures of Brynlee's LONG hair, just in case she looses it all! :)  She has already started to loose a little off the top of her head, so we probably won't be surprised if she looses it all, like Gradyn did.  He was pretty much bald by 4 months.  Here's hoping Brynlee is lucky enough to keep her thick, long, dark hair!

This pic was mostly for the butt ruffle, but it kind of shows her hair!  :)

Here you can kind of see how she hast lost some off the top.

Look how long it is in the back, goes over her shirt!  :)

It's thinning out a little on the back of her head where she lays.

Big brother hamming it up for the camera!

An attempt to get a pic of the 2 of them.  Gradyn likes to tell us he wants to hold her, but then when we put her on his lap he quickly turns away and tries to get down without warning.  We are trying to work on telling us he is all done holding her instead of just throwing her off!

Wedding Fun!

Aren't these the cutest little boys???
Grady, Luke, & Isaac posing for a rare nice picture together!

Brynlee got to wear her tutu to her first wedding!

Isaac's favorite thing to do at the wedding:  Grandpa let him hold Brynlee!

Grady's favorite thing to do!  DANCE!

Bath Time

Brynlee's first bath at home!

She did NOT like it!

2nd bath at home.  We tried a different approach in the big bath with Grady!  She enjoyed this more, but still didn't love it.  She hates being naked.  She hates having her diaper changed.  So, maybe if she grows out of that she will enjoy her bath someday!  :)

Hanging out at home with Brynlee

We have been really enjoying our time at home with Brynlee!  Paul has 3 weeks off and I have about 5.5 weeks until I will go back for the last week of school before summer vacation.  Paul's mom stayed with us the first week we were at home which was nice since I was moving really slow and recovering from the c-section.  I am finally able to move around pretty normally and am getting faster each day.  It was nice to have Doris here mostly for our meals!  :)

Leo Deaver and Brynlee!  :)

Grady has been doing really well with her for the most part.  He is always excited about her and loves to tell us what she is doing, tickle her, and point out all of her body parts.  However, he has been very naughty towards us and spent quite a lot of time in time out lately.  He just loves to push and push and NOT listen when he KNOWS you don't want him to do something.  He does it 10 times more if he knows you don't want him to do it.  His favorite things to do are take her paci, socks, or mittens off of her and run away with them and then as soon as we tell him to bring them back he throws them under the ottomon.  So, we have been working on that!  I think he also gets pretty bored at home with us because he loves his friends at daycare and is a very social person anyway.  He went to Doreen's 2 days last week and we are planning on him going 2 days this week too.  When Paul goes back to work I think he will go every morning and maybe come home after lunch for his nap and the rest of the afternoon.  We'll see how it goes.
Here he is loving on his sister!

Brynlee's cousin Isaac LOVES her!  He is always asking to hold her and also loves to give her a bottle and watch everything she does.

Brynlee Kate

Our baby girl is here!  Brynlee Kate was born on April 1st!  Yes, an April fools baby. We had many people ask, is this for real or a joke? Yes, I really went into labor early!  We were scheduled for a C-section on April 5th, but she decided she wanted to come early.  I started having contractions at about 3:00 AM on April 1st and they continued to get more consistent as the morning went on.  We went to the hospital around 8:00 and by 10:30ish we were scheduled for a C-section at 1:00.  The Dr. wanted to see my contractions be more consistent and I had eaten a little breakfast so he wanted to make sure that had enough time to digest that too.  SOOO, much to my disappointment AND discomfort, I labored all morning.  That was NOT supposed to be part of the deal of knowing we are having a c-section!  The Dr. was running late on a surgery he did at noon, so we didn't even get called to go back for surgery until around 1:45.  She was born at 2:07.

Here are a few pics from the hospital.  I will try to get more posted soon!
