We have been having a blast this Halloween!  We went to Boo at the Zoo on Sunday night and beforehand we went to our photographer to have our pictures taken in our costumes!  That is what these pictures are from.  She had a $10 special and I needed to pick up the CD from our family pictures, so it worked perfectly to snap a few pictures of them in their costumes there!  And, much easier than when I try to get pictures of them, which has been impossible!  We topped Sunday night off with a trip to McDonalds afterwards with Tyler, Anslee, and Harper, who we met at Boo at the Zoo.  It was awesome.  Smile

Then yesterday, we went back to Boo at the Zoo for a train ride because we ran out of time on Sunday night.  It was perfect!  We rode on the first ride to leave the train station when it opened, no waiting in line or anything!  Then we made our way downtown to the Halloween event at the Children’s Museum.  Our timing was also perfect for that!  We got there right after it opened, didn’t have to wait in line at all, went right thru the trick or treat stations and then off to Noodles to eat!

We already have a huge bowl full of candy, so I’m sure we will have way more than enough when we are done trick or treating.  I shouldn’t have bought any to hand out!

Grady had a Halloween party at preschool today and got to wear his costume, so he was super pumped to wear it again!  Then they also had a party at his daycare today.  He got tons of good stuff from those parties!  Tomorrow they are having another party at Kellan’s.  I think we will officially be partied out by Thursday.

Martyrs Feast Day

It was the feast day of the North American Martyrs on Friday! My class had St. Kateri to focus on. We made Native American vests, dresses, and headbands to wear to honor her. They turned out awesome and the kids had sooo much fun making and designing. them! It was like Project runway in my classroom! :) We celebrated the day with a special mass, doughnuts, a sock hop, and class parties. A super fun day!
This is the only pic I have on my phone, but I still thought it was cute!

Pumpkin painting, OCD mom style...

:)

Awesome

I couldn't hardly ask for a better pic of the 2 of them! I guess the trick is to count to 3 and then blow Grady's train whistle....worked like a charm! Haha If only I would have remembered the train whistle for our family pictures yesterday, I know we didn't get any pics of them as good as this one!
Love it!

Oh the joy of ice cream...

Grady's first school picture

Paul's mini-me...
So grown up.
Love the dimples.
Weird school expression that he doesn't do at home, makes us wonder how weird he is at school. :)

Annual Lawrence trip

We make a trip with Paul's family every fall to Lawrence to visit Mike. This year we went to a pumpkin patch. It was pretty small, but luckily since it was pretty cold we were basically the only ones there. It was perfect to have free reign of the place!
We then went back to the hotel for swimming and then naps before heading to Mike's apartment to watch the Husker football game.
Such a great weekend!!
