Ellery at 2 months

2 Month Stats:

*Weight – 10 lbs (25%)

*Height – 23.5 inches (85%)

At 2 Months Ellery was sleeping all night, anywhere from 8-10 hours.  She always did 5 hour stretches every night from 1 week old and then increased to 8 hour stretches by about 3 weeks or so.  We were so blessed with her great sleeping at night! 

She was very fussy during the days and was not on a good napping schedule until 3 months old.  She cried every night from around 6 to 11 (give or take 2 hours) until about 2.5 months old.  Another reason we were so thankful for the night sleeping. 

She went on a soy formula around 3-4 weeks old because she was having so many stomach issues.  Soy worked almost immediately to make her not be in so much pain.  She was having very mucousy and abnormal stools, which is how we knew there was blood in her stools and she was not tolerating milk based things. 

She is SO loved by everyone, especially Brynlee and Grady!  It is so amazing to see how they interact with her.  Brynlee is a huge help with her and it was great to have her home with me on maternity leave to help with things.  Grady loves to sing to her and make her laugh and do ‘ninja class’ with her. 

She started rolling from belly to back at 3 weeks old.  She always wants to be sitting up watching everything.  She stands and bounces nonstop and will not sit still ever.  I guess we don’t make them any different!  Just like her siblings!  I’m interested to see if she will be crawling at 5 months like Brynlee was!
