Arizona Trip

Here is our trip to Arizona for Royals Spring Training in Pictures.
Gradyn did awesome. He did great on the plane ride, both times, and even slept the entire way on the plane on the way home. We were very happy with that because that is what we were most worried about on the trip.
This was actually the 2nd plane ride that Gradyn has taken, he rode on a plane to Omaha when he was 3 days old for his first trip.

Stealing Mommy's Heart

So one day when I saw sweeping the kitchen floor Gradyn came in, saw me sweeping, and then went to the laundry room, got me the dust pan and brought it to me. I couldn't believe he even knew where it was!! It was so awesome! We actually hardly ever use the broom because we use our dust buster instead, so I was really surprised he knew where it all was and what it is used for. I'm pretty sure he leanred all that from daycare! (Which he actually learns a TON from daycare so it doesn't surprise me!) Since then he has been obsessed with it and if he sees crumbs on the floor he will go get the broom and dustpan and bring them into the crumbs, basically telling us to clean it up! He now loves to walk around the house with the dustpan and broom all the time. If we try to take it away he screams bloody murder!! It is so crazy!
I'm loving it because those who know me well, know all of my OCDness and that there would never be crumbs on the floor, well for very long, that is!! He may look like his daddy, but he is starting to have most of his mom's personality, which is very lucky.... Ha! :)

Playing Outside!

Since we've had a couple nice days (finally!) Gradyn and I have played outside after we get home in the evenings. This basically consists of him running up and down the sidewalk and drive-way trying to get me to chase him. He loves it when I take off running, he just stands there and laughs and has fell over a couple times from laughing too hard. He doesn't quite want to do the chasing yet, I guess! We have been able to go on a couple walks also which has been fun. He still loves the stroller and loves to go out on walks to look at everything. His arms and legs are moving the whole time trying to get the stroller to move faster I guess.....hmm.... He throws his body forward to try to move faster too! The second I stop he tries to climb out, so we usually keep moving pretty quickly!

Taking a walk around the neighborhood with Daddy and Aunt Ashley. He thought it was weird that Daddy was pushing the stroller. He didn't quite like it. He kept turning around to see who it was and looking to make sure I was still there. Ha! Definately a creature of habit! And, he loves his mama, of course! :)

Little Fishy

Much to my Joy, Grady loves the pool!! We have taken him a few times this winter to the indoor pool at the Rec Center and he just loves it! We usually try the baby pool first where he can stand on his own and splash around like crazy. He isn't quite tall enough to be able to walk around on his own yet. He will walk from one of us to the wall, but that's about as far as he will go without falling in because the water is just still a little too deep for him to walk. Then we move on to the big pool where we lay him on a kickboard and walk along with him while he lays there and kicks. He also loves to sit on the kick board like he is surfing too. He squeals with delight and laughs a lot!

Playing with my HomeDogs....the Deaver Boys!

Gradyn loves going over to play with his best friends, The 3 Deaver Boys. And by "play" I mostly mean run around chasing Dominic, stealing toys from the twins, or climbing up the chairs and table. So far, the 3 little ones are still sort of oblivious to each other, except when 1 of them has a toy that the other one wants or is doing something that the other one wants to do, etc. Grady is pretty happy running back and forth around the house and enjoying the wood floors that are much easier to run on than our carpet is! Oh how much fun it will be for them all when they can play together and enjoy it! :)

Dominic decided to make a train with his chairs. Each boy had a spot on the train!

More "baby train"!!
