I Never Ever Thought This Would Happen

Grady fell asleep at a TABLE!  I have seen lots of pictures of kids who fall asleep in their high chair, sitting at the table, sitting in weird positions and I always said, Grady will never do that.  BUT, it happened! 
He must have been sooo exhausted from his big day at the Royals game the day before (see previous post) and from much lack of sleep the whole weekend. 
We were out for brunch after church in Lawrence and Grady was not doing well.  We could obviously tell he was tired, but after he ate he was just screaming.  And, everyone had pretty much just gotten their food so we had a long time to go before we could leave.  So, I did something we never do....gave him his pacifier!  Gasp!  He has always ONLY had it for sleeping.  We have been really strict about that since he was a baby, but it was a last resort when I knew he was very tired and we could not let him get down from his high chair.  (Those of you that are around him a lot know that as soon as his feet touch the ground he is off and running and will not come back.)  After about 3-4 minutes with the paci in he was out cold.  It was so funny, and sooo adorable! 
And, I guess it shows that he KNOWS his paci is only for sleeping!  ha!  :)
