First day of Preschool!!

Grady was SO excited about starting preschool today!!  You couldn't wipe the smile off of his face!  He has been couting down on his calendar for a couple weeks and every day he would stand there and tell us to come count his preschool chart.  He told everyone he talked to yesterday that he only had 1 more day!  :)

Paul went to work a little late this morning so he could drop him off for his first day.  Normally he will go to the before school daycare there and then walk across the hall to preschool.  Paul said he was super excited and jumping around all morning!

He is going to the Cathedral preschool and the daycare that is right across the hall.  He will do that on Tuesday's and Thursday's and still go to Kellan's the other days.

All packed up and ready to go!

So excited!

Bryns had to get in on the action!  :) (and her baby, of course!)

He was mad when I went to pick him up!  He told me to go back to work so he could go back to preschool because he hadn't had time to play in the 'other room' yet.  So, I guess he had a good day!  :)  He was super excited to see me and ran right up and wanted to get out the door, but then as soon as we got in the car he started telling me he wanted to go back.

Then I told him we needed to go pick up Brynlee at Kellan's and he told me he wanted to have her stay there all night.  He said that all the kids at Kellan's house will want to talk to him and have him stay there and not go to preschool.  :)  So popular... he thinks.

Then after Kellan's I told him we were going to stop at my Aunt Lori's house.  He said, "Oh, all of the kids there (she has a daycare) will think I went to Kellan's all day, but I didn't because I went to preschool.  They will think I was at Kellan's and they will be wrong."

Something thinks they are pretty hot stuff.  Preschool is a big deal.  Just ask Grady.  :)

Mr. Memory

Grady remembers everything. Everything. We are amazed at the things he remembers from 2 years ago and the first times he has been to places. It is crazy. One thing he lives to memorize is addresses. He has almost everyone we know memorized. Which, comes in very handy at times! :)
The other night he had a puzzle that has numbers and was making out numbers with them. He wanted me to tell him 85 or 47 or 62, etc. and them he would make the number. Many of my kindergartners wouldn't be able to do that, so of course I was so proud and egging him on! :)
After awhile I had left and he called me back to look at what he had made. Hr told me he made Lori's address. Sure enough, he had put my Aunt Lori's address together. 7810. He told me that he had to use the 10 since he didn't have a 0. I was excited he was able to figure that out!
Now hopefully he will do as well in preschool socially and behavior wise as he is with the academics! He starts tomorrow, so we shall see!!!

The first ponytail!

The pink cast

Brynlee got her splint off and a pretty pink cast on her arm last week! She sat very nicely (with a sucker) and it went smoothly. She hated having the splint off and no support on her arm. She was in a lot of pain and her arm was spasming, it was so weird! She has happy when he put the cast on and it was supported again. She will have it on for 4 weeks and then we will go back to re-X-ray and see what the next step is.
