This is a rundown of the weekend:
*stopped in West Des Moines on our way for lunch at Joe's Crab Shack and their playground for the kids
*went to the Twins vs Royals game on Friday night, rode the light rail to downtown for the game. Grady loved it!
*went to the Minnesota Zoo on Saturday morning, saw a fun dolphin show
*Saturday afternoon the kids and Paul napped while Doris and I went to the Mall of America to shop! Joey and Ron also went to eat at the mall.
*Saturday night we went to another Royals vs Twins game. The guys were originally planning to go the the noon game, but opted out due to hear and exhaustion.... :)
*Sunday morning we went to church and then back to the hotel for breakfast. We then went to IKEA to shop and browse for a bit before the guys left for the baseball game.
*Sunday afternoon the guys went to the Royals vs Twins game and Doris and I took the kids for lunch at this cute Island cafe in the mall. Then went back to the hotel for naps.
*Sunday night we met the guys at the mall and ate at Rainforest Cafe. Then went on a few of the Nickelodean Universe rides. Then went back to hotel to play games and relax.
*Monday we ate breakfast at the hotel and then left for home. Our car was lucky enough to stop at an Outlet mall about an hour outside of Minneapolis! It was great! :)
Awesome trip. Too bad the Royals only won 1 of the games.
All of the pics are from my phone, sorry! It's just way too easy to do it that way! I didn't even take my camera out! Fail.
