We spent 5 days at Ron & Doris' on the dairy farm. We haven't done that for a long time, due to my job this past year I didn't get the extra time off at Christmas like usual and last summer we were busy moving to Lincoln, so we hadn't spent an extended time there since 2 Christmas' ago! It was awesome, as usual!
The time went so fast and we wish we could have spent a couple more days, although I was getting tired of living out of a suitcase. :)
Some of our activities:
*Waterpark in Norfolk
*Dinner at the Hideaway
(our fave! and perfect in the summer for the kids to run around in the sand and play for hours while we sit and eat/drink)
*Church in Bancroft
*Brunch with the family
*Paul went to Andy & Joey's baseball game while I stayed with the kids to nap
*Party with the Hagedorn family, BBQ, played outside, etc.
*Playing at Isaac & Luke's house
*Picnic in the park
*Meeting some of the Guenther family in Fremont to swim at an indoor waterpark in the hotel/pizza
*Omaha Zoo!
*Date night with Andy & Cassie! Woo hoo!

We left Grady 'sleeping' while Grandpa stayed downstairs so we could go to Andy & Cassies to hang out for a bit (who live at the end of the driveway). When we got back this is what we saw! Grady came down and snuggled right in with Grandpa Ron.

These 2 were hysterical! They lined up these chairs to sit and watch the 'fireworks show'. We looked in at one point and Isaac was throwing up blocks in the air as 'fireworks' while Luke and Grady watched! haha!!

Waterpark fun! Unfortunately, we picked the coldest day of the month to go to the waterpark, so the boys were cold and didn't want to get in very much. Grady was too scared of everything, as usual. But, Brynlee and Isaac loved it! Cassie and I decided we would go back with JUST Isaac and Brynlee. :) Luke was more brave than Grady, just too cold for him. I hope Brynlee being a maniac will help Grady come out of his shell a little bit, it does help at times but he is still so nervous about everything he doesn't feel in control of....hmm...I wonder where he gets that from?? :) I do admit all of the time that all of his qualities that are annoying to me are the exact same qualities he got from me...so I 'TRY' to have patience...

Uncle Mike! He tried to win Brynlee's heart over all week! He kept telling her he was her 'Uncle/Godfather/BFF Mike'. :)
