Ugh. I feel like we have been on antibiotics for 4 months straight now. We JUST got done with Grady's for rectal strep. Which, we are pretty sure he had for 2 months and we didn't know. We are assuming he got it from Paul, Brynlee, and I when we all had it at the end of April/beginning of May. We kept thinking it was a lack of fiber/possible hemmrroid issue. When we finally took him to the doctor we discovered it was rectal strep! Who knew that even existed?!?! Weird.
Then yesterday we discovered Brynlee has a bladder infection. Poor girl had to have a catheter and it was torture. Let me tell you. We are still waiting on the results of the tests to see what type of bacteria might have grown, but she is on an antibiotic that is hopefully the right one.
So, we had 1 week without antibiotics and right back on them. On a good note, Brynlee is acting much more like herself today and seemingly back to normal!
