Our Parish, St. Peters, had an Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival the weekend before Easter. It was the perfect day with awesome weather for the event! And, it was the perfect morning activity for us to do with my sister. Even better, it was a nice break from the preparations for Brynlee's party that we were doing all day long! The kids had a blast and Brynlee even got to do the egg hunt! She was great! She knew just what to do, would go up to an egg, pick it up and then put it right in her basket. Grady was super pumped for it and we had been talking about it all week, so he took off and had lots of eggs right away! He was also pretty good at playing a lot of the games they had.

Grady wouldn't even look at the bunny, he is sooo scared. I didn't force him, like with Santa, to go sit on his lap. Much to Paul's delight! :) Brynlee was a little apprehensive, but didn't really care. She mostly just wanted to run around, didn't want to take the time to stop for a pic, then she was just kind of intrigued by the giant bunny the rest of the time.
I'm proud of myself for this sequence of pics. Ashley is pointing out the egg for Brynlee, then Brynlee goes to pick it up in the next picture. Yes, working on my photography skills. haha
She was WAY to engrossed in checking out her loot to care about looking up for a picture...
It was SO adorable! She is so sweet.
